Cougars On Top

A Scintillating performance by Dipan Patel has put Bristlecone Cougars right on top of the Points Table. Dipan Patel, Captain of Cougars, secured the Cougars a splendid win in the BPL T-10 first match against the Assassins. He didn’t show any mercy on Assassins and had only pride for trashing their bowling attack to all parts of the ground scoring 53* which included 10 fours and 1 six. It is the highest individual score in BPL T-10 and most likely will remain untouched at least in this tournament.

After the Inaugural function at 10:30 AM, Dipan Patel won the Toss and elected to field. The Cougars Bowlers Praveen, Santosh, Sareesh, Satish and Ravi bowled at a regular pace with accurate line and varied their length to trouble the Assassins Batsmen. Even though the bowling attack was good, some of the misfields helped Assassins make 88 runs in their 10 overs.

Till then, the crowd didn’t anticipate that the cougars will have such an easy win as there was not much fanfare in launching or branding the team but Cougars always believed in

Low on Branding and High on Performance.

Cougars Batsmen started their innings with a four drawing attention of the crowd and cruised away to victory with 2 Overs to spare with a strong first wicket partnership between Dipan and Santosh. Santosh has batted well scoring 13 runs (2 fours). Later the Macho Man Satish joined Dipan and scored 16* (3 fours). Cougars Batsmen show and their team support made the whole atmosphere jubilant. Overall it was a performance and a record that could stay for long time.
